Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Computer Anxiety and Computer Attitude on the Ability to Use Computers in Students of the Computerized Accounting Study Program, Accounting Department, Semarang State Polytechnic. Samples were taken as many as 100 student respondents from the Computerized Accounting Study Program, Department of Accounting, Semarang State Polytechnic with a purposive sampling technique. Questionnaire was collected, then the data was analyzed with the help of SPSS 26 for Windows software. The results showed that students of the Computerized Accounting Study Program did not experience anxiety/difficulties in operating computers. It is understandable that operating computers is something common. Meanwhile, computer attitude has little effect on computer usage skills. This shows that the attitude of students in studying computer lecture material is pessimistic, considering that the subjects studied are not easy
