Abstract
Waste recycling products are used goods that are reprocessed so that they
become products of economic value. Based on the background in this
research, the waste that has been managed into recycled products needs to
be promoted more broadly. This study aims to improve the marketing media
for recycled waste products at the Palembang City Unit Garbage Bank with
a sample of 2 waste banks. This study uses qualitative methods in the form
of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the
interviews show that 100% of waste bank managers have not implemented
digital marketing and 100% support the implementation of an application
system in the form of a marketplace to expand the marketing reach of
recycled waste products. So based on the results of the interviews conducted,
the researchers proposed an application system in the form of RECA
(Recycling App). This application is a form of supporting the optimization of
the green economy in the city of Palembang.
